Nia Atelier

Terms of Service

Effective date: to be confirmed before publication

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Nia Atelier website and any order you place through it. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these terms.

Nia Atelier is a handmade jewellery atelier based in Cyprus. Full company details are to be confirmed before publication.

1. These terms

Please read these terms before using the site or placing an order. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms as our services change. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect.

2. Your account

You may browse the shop without an account. Creating an account lets you save pieces, follow your orders and see your Studio Credits.

Please give accurate details and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Accounts may be created with an email address and a password. Sign-in with Google is planned and will be offered as an additional method.

We may suspend or close an account where there is misuse, fraud, a security concern or a breach of these terms.

Any minimum age requirement for holding an account is to be confirmed before publication.

3. Pieces and descriptions

Our pieces are handmade. Small variations in stones, pearls, beads, colour and finish are natural and are part of the character of each piece rather than a defect.

Photography is intended to represent each piece as faithfully as possible, but colour may appear differently on different screens.

Availability is limited, and some pieces are one of a kind. A piece shown on the site may sell out before your order is completed.

We take care with pricing and descriptions. If an obvious error is discovered in a price or description after you order, we will contact you and you may confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund of anything paid.

4. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted.

We may decline an order, for example where a piece is no longer available, where payment cannot be taken, or where we suspect fraud or misuse.

Cancellation rules before dispatch are to be confirmed before publication.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the product pages in the currency indicated at checkout. Whether displayed prices include VAT, and the applicable VAT treatment, is to be confirmed before publication.

Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. Your payment details are entered with those providers and are not stored by Nia Atelier. Your payment is also subject to the terms of the provider you choose.

6. Shipping and delivery

Orders are prepared by hand and dispatched from Cyprus.

Shipping destinations, delivery costs, dispatch and delivery timeframes, and responsibility for any customs duties or import taxes are to be confirmed before publication.

7. Returns, refunds and exchanges

Return period and conditions, refund policy and timing, and exchange policy are to be confirmed before publication.

Nothing in these terms affects statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

8. Warranty and care

Handmade jewellery should be treated gently and kept away from water, perfume and cosmetics. Normal wear over time is not a defect.

Any warranty or guarantee offered on pieces is to be confirmed before publication.

9. Intellectual property

The Nia Atelier name, logo, designs, photography, text and the design of this site belong to Nia Atelier or its licensors, and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

Buying a piece does not transfer any rights in the design or the brand.

10. Content you provide

If you upload a profile photo, it is used only to represent your account within the site. The site does not currently publish user-generated content.

Please only upload material you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful or offensive. We may remove such material.

11. Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully and reasonably. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site or the accounts of others, scrape or copy the catalogue systematically, or use the site to mislead or defraud.

12. Third-party services

The site relies on third-party providers for payments, email, media delivery and hosting. Their services are subject to their own terms, and interruptions in those services may affect the site.

13. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but it may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the site or the catalogue.

14. Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from your use of the site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights.

15. Governing law

Governing law and the courts having jurisdiction are to be confirmed before publication.

16. Languages

These terms are published in English, Greek and Russian. All three are official versions of the same terms.

17. Contact

For questions about these terms or an order, please contact Nia Atelier. Contact details are to be confirmed before publication.
